MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a Memphis man followed a Door Dash driver around and intentionally hit the Dasher’s car with his own car.

Malcolm Jones, 31, is charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.

The victim said Jones cut him off near Kirby Pkwy and Highway 385 and then followed him, while the victim continued with his Door Dash delivery.

Police say when the victim stopped at a traffic light, Jones pulled up next to him and asked if he wanted to fight.

The victim did not respond and continued with his delivery. Jones continued to follow him for several miles.

Police say it ended at Ridgeway and Winchester Roads when Jones sideswiped the victim's car.

The victim was on the phone with 911 during much of the altercation.
