State police are investigating the discovery of a body in the Farmington River in New Hartford on Friday night.
A woman called police when her neighbor's dog ran to her door with a leash still attached to its collar, according to police.

After using a K9 unit with no results, State Police say they used a drone to search the river area.
The person found was pronounced dead when they were pulled from the water in the area of Farmington River Tubing, police say.
State Police say there is no criminal activity suspected, but no further information is available at this time.
