The No. 8 Fighting Hawks couldn't overcome a slow start in a 26-21 loss in front of 6,809 at South Dakota, a place UND hasn't won since 2008.
UND, which had a five-game winning streak snapped, out-gained the Coyotes 382 to 266 but were done in by allowing a defensive touchdown, throwing two interceptions and taking 10 penalties for more than 100 yards.
