The 107th birth anniversary of noted sports personality, organiser, and journalist Pulin Das was observed along with the Pulin Das Memorial Lecture at India Club, Guwahati, on Saturday (November 1). The event, organised by the Pulin Das Memorial Committee, turned into a moment of reflection and a collective call for giving the sports icon his long-overdue recognition.

Former international shuttler and executive director of Oil India Limited, Madhurjya Barua, attended the event as the chief guest and delivered the memorial lecture on “Role of corporate entities in developing the sports ecosystem in our country with specific reference to Assam.”
