The Prime Minister has said a Cambridgeshire stabbing incident is ‘appalling’. There is a large police presence at Huntingdon railway station tonight (Saturday, November 1) after multiple people were stabbed on a train travelling to the station.

British Transport Police has arrested two people and the incident is ongoing. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has commented on tonight’s incident on social media.

He said: “The appalling incident on a train near Huntingdon is deeply concerning. My thoughts are with all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency services for their response.
