FARMERS BRANCH, Texas — Farmers Branch police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred overnight Friday, killing one person and injuring multiple others.
Police say officers were called at about 1 a.m. Saturday to the rash at the intersection of Marsh Lane and Wooded Creek Drive.
According to police, investigation showed a Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling northbound on Marsh Lane when the driver reportedly ran a red light, colliding into a Mazda.
The driver of the Mazda was pronounced dead at the scene, police say. The driver of the Tahoe and its passengers were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries.
Criminal charges in the crash are expected, pending the investigation's outcome.
