VERMILLION, S.D. — The UND football team's five-game winning streak was snapped in the DakotaDome on Saturday during a 26-21 loss to South Dakota.

A crushing sequence for the Fighting Hawks played out in the final two minutes of the second quarter.
UND appeared to have a golden chance to take a halftime lead. The offense sat at first-and-10 at the USD 39 with 1:15 to play after a 30-yard over-the-shoulder catch by Nate DeMontagnac.
UND offensive lineman Seth Anderson was flagged for holding on the next play. On second-and-20, Kaminski rolled out and appeared to be trying to throw the ball away.
Instead, USD intercepted the pass on the sideline.
