Former pitcher for the Seattle Mariners and Chicago Cubs, has died at just 37 years old. The Venezuelan-born player reportedly had a sudden heart attack while driving in his hometown of Naguanagua, which caused a car crash that took his life.
According to local reports, Medina lost control of his car on Thursday night and hit several parked vehicles near the Via Veneto Shopping Center. When rescuers arrived, they found him unresponsive behind the steering wheel.
