Iwrote on Sunday's front page about the Greater Lansing Food Bank's annual fundraising drive. With the federal government shut down as Congress fights over a budget, basic food assistance, called SNAP benefits, have been in the news all week. At a minimum, it appears they will be delayed for the month of November.
