BRANDON, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Armed, masked thieves struck a Brandon cell phone store on Oct. 29, taking off with a puppy — King, the French bulldog.

The store owner confronted three masked suspects who ran away with the puppy.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) detectives immediately began investigating and identified four suspects.

Deputies arrest suspect after active burglary report

Deputies were able to track down the suspects to an apartment and found King safely hidden in a drawer.

Four people were arrested for the incident — two adults and two teenagers.

King has since been returned to his owner, safe and unharmed.
