High school football’s regular season is over and just three teams —Point Loma, Santa Fe Christian and Mission Bay — survived unbeaten.
None of the three will get much love when playoff brackets are unveiled on Sunday.
Santa Fe Christian entered the weekend projected as the No. 6 seed in the Division 2 bracket.
Point Loma, which has outscored its opponents 322-87 with three shutouts, was projected as the sixth seed in Division 1.
Mission Bay is ranked just behind Santa Fe Christian in Division 2 and would have to jump at least three teams to get a bye. It’s not impossible, but not probable.
