That’s right — the Celtics will be wearing their 2025-26 City Edition gold uniforms for the first time this season when they face off against the Houston Rockets. Boston unveiled the uniforms back in September, and the immediate reaction was mixed.
While some people dug the new threads, Spotrac’s Keith Smith was famously against the uniforms with every fibre of his being.
“A Celtics jersey without green is gross,” Smith declared. “Why not add green outlines or trim at least? Another swing and miss of an alternate jersey.”
