Days from Election Day, the Democratic Party pulled out one of its top headliners to help their cause in the New Jersey Governor's race — the candidacy of Rep. Mikie Sherrill.

Former President Barack Obama joined a get-out-the-vote rally for Sherrill at Essex County College in Newark on Nov. 1. The 44th president spoke to a crowd of more than 2,000 people — and hundreds more in an overflow area.
