DALLAS — Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett, not Kyler Murray, will start in Monday night's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys as Murray continues to recover from a foot sprain, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Schefter reports Murray is making progress in his recovery and may have a role in Monday's game, but Brissett will start.
Murray, a former Allen High School standout , had missed the last two Cardinals games with the foot injury and had reportedly seemed on track to return on Monday, but, according to reports, Brissett is set to start again instead.
Murray's next chance to return is in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Cowboys will be looking for a win Monday regardless of which quarterback starts for the Cardinals.
