"The Preston and Steve Show" announced they will be hosting an informal celebration of life event for Pierre Robert outside WMMR's original studios at Rittenhouse Square on Sunday, Nov. 2.
In a post to social media, the radio show that aired daily before Pierre Robert's show said the informal gathering will begin at noon outside WMMR's original studios at 19th and Walnut.

The post said the spot was Robert's "favorite place in this city that he loved."
Robert died on on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the age of 70. The cause of death is not yet known, but officials said it was due to natural causes.
Robert had been with 93.3 WMMR since 1981 and was the host of the midday radio show.
