GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) — A 40-year-old man was arrested and faces multiple charges in connection with a drug trafficking investigation on Friday.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office said they received multiple complaints of drug trafficking at a home in the 1900 block of Meridian Road.
After securing a search warrant, deputies searched the suspect’s home during the afternoon hours on October 31.
The sheriff’s office said they found more than 11 pounds of Marijuana, a loaded 9mm semiautomatic handgun, and seized $48,600 dollars in cash.
Authorities arrested James Richardson, 40, and he was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana over 5 pounds and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.
The sheriff’s office said Richardson also has prior felony drug convictions.
