Saturday’s edition of intra-city football could have driven statisticians and scoreboard operators crazy.
At first, it looked as if Frederick was going to run visiting Thomas Johnson right out of the stadium, leading 35-0 less than two minutes into the second quarter. But the Patriots, who were plagued with turnovers the entire game, went on a scoring frenzy of their own over the remainder of the game.
