Clemson Tigers football head coach Dabo Swinney was screaming so loudly at his players that you could partially hear it on the live ESPN broadcast.
The Tigers suffered a heartbreaking 46-45 loss to the visiting Duke squad on Saturday, dropping them to 3-5 on the year. The loss was additionally frustrating because of a questionable pass interference call that aided Duke at the end.
But the Tigers’ defense was also non-existent in this must-win game. And during the final seconds of the first half, Dabo Swinney let his defense hear it on the sidelines in a scathing rant that could be heard on TV:
You don’t see Dabo Swinney react like that very often. It’s just a sign of how low morale is for this football team right now.
