LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - As many trick and treaters spent their night going door to door for candy, the Star City Figure Skating Club delivered a treat of their own at the Breslow Hockey Center

The club has been hitting the ice for nearly four decades, but Saturday they put on a performance in Lincoln on Halloween.

For 50-year-old Brian Behrens, ice skating wasn’t on his radar.

“Not in my wildest dreams,” Behrens said. “I didn’t think that at all. I just wanted to do something that would keep me active as I was getting older.”

For 17-year-old Hathaway Hutchings, she’s been spending time on the ice since she was nine years old, and now ice skates almost every single day. Not only was she apart of Saturday’s performance, the Lincoln Northwest senior helped choreograph for other people.
