CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) -- Nearly a dozen people gathered outside the Central Falls Police Department Saturday evening to mourn the death of a young woman who was found in the woods in Pawtucket earlier this week.
The demonstration included both friends and family of 24-year-old Erica Bader, whose death was deemed suspicious and is under investigation by Central Falls and Pawtucket police.
"We will make sure that justice is served for her," Crystal Smith, Bader's stepmother, told 12 News. "Everyone will make sure of that, and they're here tonight to make sure that happens."
Bader's body was found by Pawtucket police in a wooded area Monday. Police there believed that her death happened in another area, leading them to contact Central Falls police when their investigation brought them
