MOBILE, AL. (KLFY) -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns ended a three-game losing streak with a 31-22 victory over South Alabama, keeping their hopes for a bowl game alive.

The win improves the Cajuns' record to 3-6 for the season, leaving them with a chance to reach the postseason with three games remaining.

Quarterback Lunch Winfield delivered an outstanding performance, completing 14 of 15 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns. He also contributed on the ground with 45 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Wide receiver Shelton Sampson Jr. had a standout game, catching both of Winfield's touchdown passes and amassing 138 yards on six receptions. Sampson's 138 yards were the most by a Louisiana receiver this season.
