SOUTHPORT, N.C. — The American Fish Company waterfront restaurant reopened Friday, welcoming patrons back nearly two months after a mass shooting at the site left three people dead and at least five others injured.
The restaurant shared the reopening on Facebook Friday, inviting the community to enjoy the waterfront location. Weekend hours are Friday from 2–9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12–9 p.m., with regular hours resuming Thursday.
Nigel Max Edge, identified as the shooter, was taken into custody following the attack.
