ITANAGAR, Nov 1: A workshop on Pangolin Handling and Rescue was organized at the Pangin Town Community Hall yesterday by researcher Aina Darang, presently conducting a study on the critically endangered Chinese pangolin in Komsing area under the Rapid Action Project (RAP) of the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI).
The workshop aimed to create awareness among locals about the conservation and protection of the species, which is facing severe threats due to habitat loss and illegal hunting.
