Max Scherzer gets the Jays off the field in a hurry in the top of the second, needing only 10 pitches to retire the Dodgers in order. Jays fans took a deep breath when Tommy Edman sent a two-out fly ball to the warning track in right field, but Addison Barger got under it to make the catch with plenty of room.
This time, having not run the bases, Ohtani is back out on the mound in plenty of time, getting ready to face Bo Bichette, who went 0-for-2 with a walk against him in Game 4.
