As if World Series Game 7 was not dramatic enough, the sky-high tensions boiled over between the Dodgers and Blue Jays in the fourth inning after reliever Justin Wrobleski hit Andrés Giménez with a pitch.
The previous pitch had also been up and in, and after Giménez got hit he stared down at Wrobleski, who started to walk toward him with his hands out. The home-plate umpire got between them and tried to usher Giménez to first base, but both benches poured onto the field and the bullpens followed shortly after.
Giménez is the nine hitter in the lineup and there was one out in the inning, with the Dodgers trailing by two runs. After the dust settled, warnings were issued to both teams.
