MINNEAPOLIS — Free Press sports writer Chris Solari rates Michigan State football on a scale of A to F after the Spartans’ 23-20 loss in overtime at Minnesota on Saturday, Nov. 1 .

Offense: B-minus

QB Alessio Milivojevic delivered in his first career start, taking over for the benched Aidan Chiles and throwing for 301 yards on 20-for-28 passing with a touchdown. He showed strong touch and poise in the pocket, but he also was sacked seven times – not including many big hits he took on run plays and while making throws – to cost MSU 56 yards.
