HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors return from the bye week to face the San Jose State University Spartans for the Dick Tomey Legacy Trophy.
The 6-2 ‘Bows are riding a three-game win streak, and are off to their best start since 2018.
Hawaii defeated Colorado State 31-19 and is now bowl-eligible for the first time in the Timmy Chang era.
The Spartans are 2-5, but have won four of the last five matchups against the ‘Bows, the most recent being a shutout loss at home in 2023.
Kickoff in California is at 4:30 p.m. Hawaii time and televised on CBS Sports.
