WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Peck Pig Palace Rescue and Sanctuary is asking the community for donations, specifically for any pumpkins and gourds left over from Halloween. They are repurposed as a special treat to help feed the rescue's potbelly pigs, while also helping the community recycle their pumpkins.

Peck Pig Palace has been a safe place for potbelly pigs who have been abandoned or just need a home for over 13 years. Right now the rescue serves as a home for 20 pigs; they also have dogs, cats, chickens, a pony, and a mule mix.
