CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Monsters suffered a 3-2 overtime defeat against the Milwaukee Admirals Saturday night at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
With the loss, the Monsters are fifth in the AHL’s North Division with a 3-1-2-1 record.
Milwaukee seized an early advantage when Zach L’Heureux found the net at 4:22 in the first period. Cleveland’s Luca Pinelli answered at 12:39 with assistance from Mikael Pyyhtiä and Brendan Smith, but the Admirals reclaimed the lead when Daniel Carr converted a power-play opportunity at 15:47, putting Milwaukee up 2-1 after the opening frame.
