EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- It may no longer be breast cancer awareness month but the fight against breast cancer doesn't stop when October ends.
The Cattle Baron's Ball was held this evening in Evansville for the second year. It's a western-themed gala. The event raises money for breast cancer research and life-saving resources.
Since it began, the gala has brought the community together all united in the mission to help finish the fight against cancer.
"You can't go two steps from where you're at and not meet someone that's been touched by cancer,” Katrinka Rynder said. “So what I want people to realize is that we can come together and we can work to fight a cause, we can work to raise those funds, and that someday we can find a way to slow the disease down and that we can together whi
