LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska football traded in their usual scarlet and cream for black Saturday night in the game against No. 23 USC.
The dedication goes beyond the fans just joining in on the fun, as the uniforms, the field and even the balloons all represented the color.
It marks the first time the football team has gone this far in dedication for a blackout game in Lincoln.
It’s something that Husker fans want to see again in the future.
“We are just so pumped,” Landon Blank said. “We have had these tickets for like months and seeing the fans all blacked out is really special.
