MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - A second victim has died following a deadly double shooting late Friday night, the Montgomery Police Department confirmed Saturday.

Police and fire medics responded to the 3800 block of Haynes Lane, just off Perry Hill Road, around 10:35 p.m.

On arrival, first responders found a man and woman, both with life-threatening gunshot wounds. The woman died on the scene, while the man was taken to an area hospital. MPD confirmed Saturday night that the man had succumbed to his injuries.

One of the victims appeared to have self-inflicted gunshot wounds, though MPD investigators have not clarified which.

Neither person has been identified by name, but investigators believe the shooting was domestic related.
