Auburn fans started chanting for Hugh Freeze to be fired late in the fourth quarter of the Tigers’ 10-3 home loss to Kentucky on Saturday night.

And continued the chant long after the game was over.

As it turned out, it didn’t matter who Hugh Freeze played at quarterback on Saturday as the his Tigers fell 10-3 in Jordan-Hare Stadium to Kentucky.

Auburn is now 4-5 on the season and 1-5 in the SEC.

The Auburn offense, once again, sputtered, amassing 241 total yards. The Tigers’ offensive line gave up seven more sacks and 12 tackles for loss.

Ashton Daniels got the start for the Tigers and played through the third quarter, even though the Tigers got just one offensive possession in that quarter.
