Bihar is all set for the 2025 Assembly Elections, which will be held in two phases, on November 6 and 11, to elect representatives to the 243-member state assembly.

Bihar has 7.42 crore voters overall, of which 3.92 crore are men and 3.5 crore are women. There are also 4 lakh senior citizen voters, with at least 14,000 older than 100, and 14 lakh first-time voters.

Ahead of the polls, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has released procedures to guarantee a seamless election process. Many voters who don't have a physical voter ID card need not worry, as they can still cast their vote using other approved identity documents.
