GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - In an epic Saturday to remember both J.H. Rose and Ayden-Grifton Volleyball won their respective state titles.
In 6A, J.H. Rose came back from down two sets, to rattle off three in a row and beat Watauga.
The Rampants played in this game last year, but came up short, finishing runner-up.
In 3A, Ayden-Grifton swept their match over Pine Lake, as the volleyball program won their first-ever state title.
The last time they played on this stage was in 2019, where they finished runner-up.
