Ernie Clement leads off the bottom of the eighth inning with a double into the gap in left-centre. He is now the all-time leader for hits in a single post-season in major-league history. That was his 30th. He drives Emmet Sheehan from the game and the Dodgers go to Game 5 starter Blake Snell.
Clement breaks the record that was held by Randy Arozarena of the 2020 Tampa Bay Rays, but Arozarena set the record while playing in 20 games that post-season. Clement is currently playing in his 18th.
