Shopian: District Administration Shopian Saturday organised an exposure visit for 25 youth of the district to the Industrial Estates Gagren and Aglar under the Youth Engagement Programme.

During the visit, the participants were familiarized with processes and operations of various manufacturing and service-based Industries operating within these industrial estates. They gained valuable insights into the supply chain mechanisms and functioning of diverse industrial units.

The participants were also exposed to horticulture-based Industries at Industrial Estate Aglar, where they obtained valuable insights into Controlled Atmosphere (CA) stores, grading and packing lines, as well as the manufacturing of packaging materials including cardboard cartons and fruit trays.
