SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The community comes together to mourn the deaths of two young girls who were lost in a house fire.

On Nov. 1, heartbreak and sadness echoed throughout Lake Bethlaham Baptist Church as loved ones mourned the loss of Aaliyah Robinson, 8, and Danielle Spearman, 5.

The two girls died earlier in October during a house fire on Milton Street, which was allegedly set by a 15-year-old.

“We’re hurting, not as much as you possibly, but we feel the pain. We’re gonna mourn with you and with this entire community. Be encouraged. This entire community is behind you. Love y’all,” said Shreveport Fire Chief Clarence Reese.
