RICHMOND – Twice as nice.

Richmond defeated arch-rival Armada for the second time this season – and this time the stakes were higher.

The Blue Devils tripped up the Tigers 14-10 in a Division 4 district semifinals game to advance to the district finals. Richmond (9-1) defeated Armada 24-17 in late September in a game where the Blue Devils rallied back from a 17-13 halftime deficit.

Richmond scored a touchdown in both the first and fourth quarters, including the game winner late in the fourth quarter to lift the Blue Devils to the next round. Logan Evans barreled into the endzone on a 4-yard run and Kaden Christensen nailed the extra point for the winning edge.
