A Southern California woman rushed her dog to the vet after it ingested methamphetamine during a routine walk in the park.
The owner, who identified herself as Nancy, told KABC-TV that she took her two dogs, Arah and Tobie, for a walk in Laurel Park in the Orange County town of Los Alamitos on Oct. 20.
Nancy said that things seemed to be fine until she came home a short time later and noticed Tobie acting strange.
“When we got home, she was just sitting there, and I was trying to call her, and she wouldn’t come, and she wouldn’t let me touch her,” Nancy told KABC-TV.
“She didn’t want to eat treats, then she started just twitching and just doing a mouth thing, and I thought she was maybe having a seizure.”
“It just looked like something freaked her out.”
