WASHINGTON, D.C. — Here’s a look at how area members of Congress voted over the previous week.

Along with roll call votes this week, the Senate also passed a resolution (S. Res. 467), designating Oct. 30 as a national day of remembrance for the workers of the U.S. nuclear weapons program.

There were no key votes in the House this week.

Appeals Court Judge

The Senate on Oct. 27 voted 52-46 to confirm the nomination of Rebecca L. Taibleson to be a judge on the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. A Justice Department prosecutor in Wisconsin for close to a decade, Taibleson was formerly an assistant to the U.S. solicitor general. She earlier clerked for Antonin Scalia and Brett Kavanaugh.
