Class A Finals: (1) Aquinas 1, (2) Sutherland 0

All it took was one goal from Jaden Deming to lift Aquinas to the Class A championship win.

Tied 0-0 with just under five minutes remaining, Sienna Fallone took a shot that was deflected by the Sutherland keeper. Deming followed the ball and tapped it in on the second chance for the game-winner.

The sectional title is the Li'l Irish's second in the last three years.

Aquinas (18-1-0) advances to the state tournament, where it will face the Section VI winner next weekend at Geneseo High School. Sutherland's season ends with a 15-4-0 record.
