BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The Aggieland Panthers boys basketball team had a comeback 63-55 win against the Fort Bend Eagles in the Aggieland Come & Take it Tip-Off at Legends Event Center.
“It’s really crucial to kind of set the tone for the beginning of the year and try to ride this wave of momentum moving forward for the rest of the season,” said head coach Brayden Facemyer. “And it’s nice to not have to be able to travel and perform for our fans here at Legends.”
Why did Aggieland win? A strong defensive third quarter by Aggieland helped propel them to their win against Fort Bend.
Who stood out? Zane Call stood out for Aggieland as he hit several key shots, including a three-pointer in the fourth quarter that put the game out of reach.
