: Tripura has surpassed 4 megawatts in solar electricity generation, marking a pivotal moment in the state’s commitment to sustainable energy.
Following the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the state has achieved a significant milestone in its renewable energy journey.
According to the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL), 16,965 households have enrolled in the initiative, with 1,210 homes already equipped with rooftop solar panels. These installations are not only lighting up homes but also boosting the state’s clean energy output.
