TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —A Magic Valley restaurant is helping provide food for local residents amid the government shutdown.

Baked N’ Loaded, a restaurant in the Magic Valley Mall, boxed up food to help those in need of assistance.

Bailey McClaflin, owner of Baked N’ Loaded, and friends were able to make 15 boxes filled with donated food like ramen, bread and beans. Each box provides food for 2-3 people, and McClaflin plans on giving out the food soon.

“So on Monday I’m going to be giving them out. They can come in after two and to pick them up and if it doesn’t like if nobody comes and doesn’t pick it up, I’m going to be donating them to Idaho Angels since it’s another community that does help with food boxes,” McClaflin said.
