Part of the beauty of postseason baseball is that anyone can be a World Series hero, from future Hall of Famers to the 26th man on the roster.
The 2025 World Series featured plenty of star power, with Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., among others, all starring on the game's biggest stage.
But a game -- or even a series -- isn't always decided by the players you expect. Look no further than Game 7 of this year's Fall Classic: With the Dodgers on the brink, veteran utility man Miguel Rojas salvaged their season, launching a game-tying home run with one out in the ninth inning. Without Rojas, it's certainly unlikely that L.A. would be celebrating back-to-back titles.
