ANN ARBOR, Mich. — If last week was a blip, what does that make this victory?

Michigan football has now won back-to-back games in spite of its passing attack, riding running back Jordan Marshall to another career day in Saturday’s 21-16 win over Purdue .

And while Marshall could sit back and feel good about his performance, it’s clear quarterback Bryce Underwood and Michigan’s passing attack has work to do. The group turned in another underwhelming performance with Underwood finishing just 13 of 22 for 145 yards and an interception.

The freshman not only cost his team points with the red-zone turnover, but he overshot several receivers and, once again, looked out of sync at times.
