An autumn music festival is returning for its third year, with even more venues taking part.

The Rochester Cathedral Jazz and Blues will see a string of musicians perform inside the historic building, as well as other churches across Medway .

This year is the first time that the festival, curated by acclaimed artist James Taylor, is expanding beyond the cathedral.

The event will help raise funds to preserve the 1,400-year-old building and celebrate world-class jazz musicians, including the BBC Big Band’s swing-inspired show and a headline set from the James Taylor Quartet.

Afro-Cuban jazz group Snowboy and the Latin Section and Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, a tribute to the much-loved Soho club, are also among the names set to perform this year.
