Saturday Night Live ‘s Weekend Update mocked Donald Trump ‘s multiple White House renovations, as well his inability to be normal even while giving out candy to trick or treaters.

Co-anchor Colin Jost honed in one of of Trump’s interactions with a costumed child on Friday at “what’s left of the White House.” Trump, like he did in 2019, put a piece of candy on the child’s head—instead of in the bag they’re carrying around for that very reason.

“Just put it the bag!” Jost said. “Why is he so weird? Even the kids is like, ‘This is not right.’ It’s kind of an embodiment of his entire presidency—just a violation of norms that no other president or person has ever conceived of. Like who’s ever thought: ‘I should just put the candy on the kid’s head.'”
