Dedra J. Roberts Bluffton, SC - Dedra J. Roberts, 78, passed away on September 19th, 2025 in Bluffton, South Carolina surrounded by love and family.

Born in Albany and raised in Watervliet and Latham, she was the daughter of a beautician and a World War II veteran who served bravely at Iwo Jima and Okinawa. As a young woman, she volunteered as a candy striper in the emergency room at Albany Memorial Hospital - an early reflection of her caring and kind nature. She later graduated from Albany Business College and worked as a confidential secretary with the State of New York, Supreme Court Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department.
